Marita has had a varied career working as a Sugar Chemist, Flight Attendant and Human Resources Officer before following her passion for travel. In 2015, she founded Aspire Travel & Cruise, combining her extensive travel experience with a genuine passion for helping others create unforgettable holidays. Her warm, personalised approach and commitment to building lasting relationships have earned the trust of clients and recognition across the travel industry. Within her first 12 months of business, Marita received an award for outstanding achievement and has continued to thrive despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. Today, Aspire Travel & Cruise proudly holds many awards and accolades under her leadership.
Having visited more than 30 countries across six continents, Marita brings firsthand knowledge to every itinerary she creates. Her travels have taken her throughout Australia, New Zealand, the South Pacific, Asia, Africa, Europe, North and South America, as well as over Antarctica. One of her favourite travel memories is a week-long cycling holiday along Croatia's stunning Adriatic Coast, where she experienced the country's charming coastal towns, rich history and spectacular scenery.
Since 2016, Marita has escorted groups to destinations including South America, Canada & Alaska, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Vietnam & Cambodia, the Cook Islands and European river cruises, as well as Australian adventures to Cape York, the Gulf Savannah Way, Uluru and iconic rail journeys aboard The Indian Pacific, The Ghan and the Great Southern..
Marita believes the best way to travel is to slow down and truly experience each destination.
